Education

At New England Tech, we understand that each student may have unique learning styles. We provide ample student support to help each of you succeed in becoming job-ready upon graduation. Our academic programs will help you develop highly marketable technical and interpersonal skills employers are looking for.

At Davies Career and Technical High School in Lincoln, Rhode Island, we’re a lot like your local high school. Our students take four years of math and English; three years of science and social studies, and our classes are fully accredited. Students can play sports like basketball, softball, soccer, and baseball. They can run cross-country, attend after-school clubs and learn to build guitars, or perform forensics investigations. And when it comes time to attend college or decide on that next step after Davies, they can turn to their guidance counselors for support and a plan.

The Community College of Rhode Island is the state’s only public comprehensive associate degree-granting institution. We meet the wide-ranging educational needs of our diverse student population, building on our rich tradition of excellence in teaching and our dedication to all students with the ability and motivation to succeed. We set high academic standards necessary for transfer and career success, champion diversity, respond to community needs, and contribute to our state’s economic development and the region’s workforce.

Roger Williams University is inextricably connected to Roger Williams, the 17th-century leader devoted to freedom of conscience and social justice who founded a community in Rhode Island based on those tenets. Roger Williams’ philosophy, and what has been called his ‘lively experiment,’ nurtured the growth of vibrant and open societies. Our pursuit of excellence in education, academic accomplishment and community service is rooted in his focus on intellectual exchange, critical thinking, inclusiveness and innovation as a means of improving a free society. It is this legacy that inspires our core purpose.

The University of Rhode Island is a diverse and dynamic community whose members are connected by a common quest for knowledge.
